Staying Healthy

"The way you Eat is the way you Live". Start the day with a work out,i.e exercise for at least 30 min either,brisk walk, jogging, thread mill.  As a workout takes away all your calories , you are supposed to supplement them by a healthy food, so its a prerequisite to add protein in your diet to supplement the energy in the body. Meditate for at least 1 hour a day preferably in the mornings to avoid negative thinking. Practice Yoga, which helps reducing stress and promoting good health. Drinking at least 2 glasses of water, immediately after waking up and before going to bed. Cleanliness is next to Godliness, hence maintain clean surroundings. Wash your hands with a soap/ sanitizer before eating. Summer Tips

Keep yourself hydrated: It is quite common that most of us tends to dehydrate in summer, to avoid this, drink plentiful of fluids like coconut water, lemon water, fresh fruit juices, vegetable juices. Avoid coffee, tea and other artificial drinks. Use sun screen agents before one hour of going out. Exfoliate the dead skin. Try this pack for exfoliating the dead skin: 3-4 tablespoons of gram flour( fine powder), 3-4 table spoons of turmeric, few drops of rose water, few ml of milk/yogurt, and make this a smooth paste and apply on face for exfoliating. Bath twice a day , and avoid synthetic soaps, use natural home made bathing mix ( gram flour,milk or yogurt and make this a paste and use it for bathing . Minimize oily food and spicy foods in summer. Wear cotton made dresses for comfort.
